LaunchBar5.1.3が強制終了する時の対処方法 [Mac,App]

数日前から愛用しているMacランチャーアプリ「LaunchBar」がクラッシュするようになりました。
Mac OS X 10.6 Snow LeopardやMac OS X 10.7 Lionの両環境でも現象は同じです。

「何で？ちょっと困るだけどな。。」



公式サイトのユーザーフォーラムを見たらこの問題は僕だけではないようです。

This "NSInvalidArgumentException" crash is fixed in the current Nightly Build of LaunchBar (5.2-nightly-906).
This pre-release version is available via manual download from http://www.obdev.at/launchbar/download.html (under "Nightly Builds").
You could also use the integrated auto-update feature (if you enable "Show pre-release version" in the "Update" preferences of LaunchBar), but as this bug crashes LaunchBar before you get there you would need to start LaunchBar in debug mode (by pressing and holding the Option key while starting LaunchBar - this will temporarily disable the indexing process that leads to the crash).
Explanation:
This crash was caused by faulty Info.plist files of other installed apps (e.g. recently this was the case with the latest Pixelmator update).
LaunchBar tries to read these files when creating the list of services these apps provide. If the file contains syntactical errors, LaunchBar could crash.
The Nightly Build now shields LaunchBar against such faulty Info.plist files.

どうやら　最新のPixelmatorにアップデートしたら、「Info.plist」ファイルにエラーがあり、それが原因でクラッシュしてしまうとのことです。

解決するためにはプレリリースバージョンのLaunchBar5.2をインストールする必要があります。

これで問題は解決です。
でも、他のアプリが原因でエラーが起こったりするのですね。
